Our client is an internationally renowned music rights management company based in NYC. They are seeking an HR Coordinator to join the team. The position is hybrid, and based part of the week at their beautiful office in Downtown, Manhattan. There is room for growth at this company, and they offer excellent benefits!

Due to the nature of the position, only candidates with 1-4 years of HR Coordinator experience will be considered.

Job Details

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department
  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee information in HRIS
  • Process onboardings, including new hire paperwork and I-9 verifications
  • Assist with new hire compliance trainings and manage annual renewals
  • Answer, screen, and route phone calls with utmost professionalism
  • Monitor email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Draft, proofread, and edit documents in Microsoft Word
  • Manage information in Excel spreadsheets
  • Assist with payroll and recruiting as needed
  • Salary: $55-70k per year, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-4 years’ HR Coordinator experience
  • Must have HRIS experience
  • Interest in the music industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Dedicated to detail, with excellent organizational skills
  • Highly responsible, with proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
  • Personable and able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees
