Our client is a nationally renowned nonprofit committed to supporting injured veterans and their families. They are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support the Fundraising team. This position requires a time commitment of about 30-35 hours per week, and is 100% remote. Applicants must reside in the NYC Metropolitan area, as occasional visits to the NYC-based office may be necessary. There is room for growth at this company, with the potential to go perm!

Job Details

  • Provide general administrative support to the Fundraising team
  • Monitor email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
  • Responsible for Salesforce data entry and report development
  • Ensure timely completion of essential projects while balancing conflicting priorities
  • Pay rate: $22-25 per hour, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ Administrative Assistant experience
  • Experience with nonprofits and fundraising, a plus!
  • Salesforce experience, preferred
  • Tech savvy and knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communicator with excellent follow-through
  • Proactive self-starter, and comfortable working from home
