Our client is a strategic communications firm representing influential companies, organizations, institutions, and high profile individuals. The firm works across a broad spectrum of industries including media, entertainment, sports, fashion, tech, publishing, finance, retail, real estate, public affairs, education and philanthropy providing high–level communications services including strategic counsel, crisis management, corporate positioning, profile management, message development, media training, media relations, brand-building and repositioning, and content creation.

They are seeking a talented & client facing Senior Account Executive with a passion for communications to take a leading role on a mix of Financial Technology, Financial & Business to Business accounts to develop & execute impactful communications plans that meet client objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively with senior leadership to develop communications plans that meet client objectives
  • Lead client communications including meetings, daily emails & executive presentations
  • Research & evaluate client & industry information to develop creative & strategic plans
  • Analyze industry news & data for relevant insights & trends to implement or share with clients & peers
  • Pitch national & regional print, online, broadcast & trade media outlets across business verticals
  • Develop engaging materials (fact sheets, press releases, reports, pitches, expert Q+A) that accurately communicate client’s programs, goals, priorities, etc.
  • Supervise staff junior on projects
  • Set priorities & organize tasks to meet internal & external deadlines

Qualifications:

  • 2-4  years communications experience with at least 1 year experience in a fast paced agency leading corporate communications engagements with professional services or financial services brands.
  • Proven track record of managing increasingly large accounts in a profitable manner
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in contact with senior clients in a consultative capacity.
  • Proactive, creative, & detail-oriented
