Our client, a nonprofit sports organization, is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join the team on a Temp-to-Perm basis. The position is on site and based in Ozone Park, NY. 

Job Details 

• Process payroll on a weekly basis 
• Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time 
• Act as point person for payroll inquiries 
• Solve payroll issues in a timely manner 
• Manage timekeeping systems 
• Oversee reconciliation processes 
• Process garnishments and union deductions 
• Ensure compliance with local and federal labor laws and regulations 
• Perform internal audits and prepare reports 
• Analyze variances and discrepancies 
• Pay Rate: $33-38 per hour, based on experience 
• Time Commitment: Temp-to-Perm 

Skills and Qualifications 

• 5+ years’ experience in Payroll processing with background in HR 
• CPP certification, highly preferred 
• Experience with web-based payroll and timekeeping systems 
• Knowledgeable in local and federal payroll processes and laws 
• Dedicated to details and accuracy
