Our client, a global alternative asset manager with over $600 billion in assets under management, and a 120-year history, is seeking an Office Coordinator. The position is based on site at their office in downtown Manhattan. Job Details

  • Provide backfill to all Office Services positions, including reception and mailroom
  • Assist with event coordination and catering set-ups as needed
  • Assist Office Services Manager on special projects and general facilities tasks
  • Ensure general stocking of the office, including kitchen, conference rooms and print areas
  • Coordinate deliveries, mail, and messenger services
  • Follow up on building maintenance work orders and ensure their timely completion
  • Conduct sweeps on a daily basis to identify and take action on office facilities issues
  • Assist office manager in coordinating office equipment servicing
  • Coordinate and assist with office seating rearrangements
  • Ensure correct kitchen pantry deliveries and report discrepancies
  • Other project-related work as assigned
  • Salary: $60-70k per year

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Proven customer service and organizational skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Computer savvy and able to learn new software
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and transition seamlessly between responsibilities
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, positive, can-do approach
