Description

Our client is an industry-leading financial services firm with headquarters in NYC. They are seeking an Events Coordinator to assist with corporate events. This position is temp-to-perm.

Job Details

  • Oversee reception: answering phones, monitoring email inbox, and greeting clients
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees alike
  • Assist Lead Event Planners with meeting and events facilitation
  • Utilize EMS booking system
  • Assist clients with inquiries and requests
  • Monitor conference rooms and report facilities issues
  • Coordinate catering and audio-visual services
  • Pay rate: $25 per hour
  • Target perm salary: $55-60k annually

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in events planning, or in luxury hospitality
  • Personable and customer service oriented
  • Tech savvy, with knowledge of MS Outlook and Word
  • EMS booking system knowledge, a plus!
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
