Our client, a law firm with a long community legacy, is seeking a Legal Secretary to join the team in Garden City, Long Island. This position is fully on site and the firm offers excellent benefits, including 401(k) with matching and unlimited PTO! 

Job Details 

  • Provide general administrative assistance 
  • Manage attorney calendars 
  • Prepare and submit expense reports 
  • Edit, organize, and file legal documents 
  • Ensure neatness of reception areas and conference rooms 
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and take detailed messages 
  • Oversee inventory and place orders for office supplies 
  • Ensure continuous operation and maintenance of office appliances 
  • Salary: $85-90k annually, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary 
  • Familiar with legal terminology and documents 
  • Tech savvy and confident in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Knowledgeable in expense software such as Chrome River
