Our client is a powerhouse New York City real estate firm, and they are seeking a Legal Assistant. There is room for growth at this firm, and they offer excellent benefits. The position is on site at their beautiful office in Midtown, Manhattan. 

Job Details 

  • Provide general administrative support for attorneys 
  • Manage attorney calendars and meeting schedules 
  • Answer, screen, and route phone calls 
  • Prepare and submit expense reports 
  • Manage projects and ensure their timely completion 
  • Organize, format, and proofread legal documents in Microsoft Word 
  • Create and update templates in Word and Word Perfect 
  • Salary: $70-90k annually, based on experience 
  • Excellent benefits package includes medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401(k) 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 10+ years’ experience as a Legal Assistant 
  • Notary license, highly preferred 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communicator 
  • Team player and collaborates well with others 
  • Tech savvy, with ability to learn new software
