This company is looking for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst who will provide actionable, accurate, and professionally presented information to their own department and other internal decision makers in support of the Firm’s initiatives, including business development and marketing efforts.  This role will involve creating ad-hoc reports and working with end-users to design automated reports related to matter tracking, timekeeper productivity, client attributes, inventory, and other data elements needed to analyze variances to budgets and other productivity benchmarks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with IT to create, schedule, and maintain month-end, weekly, and daily reports using SQL / SSRS for departments, Partners, Firm management, and other stakeholders as needed
• Create ad-hoc reports and extract data from 3e, Master Data Hub (data warehouse), or other repository
• Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
• Assist with the implementation of the Master Data Hub and other dashboards/portals as necessary
• Assist with the data validation between different repositories to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Manage the SSRS reporting library and migrate relevant legacy SSRS reports (and corresponding SQL queries) to current data parameters and archive / disable unused reports with superseded data parameters
• Update and maintain SSRS subscription requests as requested
• Answer ad-hoc data requests for internal and client-facing colleagues
• Work on additional projects and assignments as requested by the Chief Financial Officer, Director, FP&A and Pricing, Manager, Pricing and Data Analytics, Partners, and other Firm leaders

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Proficiency with SQL and Excel required
• Experience with SSRS and familiarity Elite 3e preferred
• Produces polished professional reports for direct distribution to constituents
