Our client, a successful Executive Search firm, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their growing team in NYC. The position is hybrid and requires 2-3 days in their beautiful Soho office per week. Job Details 

  • Keep employee files up to date and manage data in HRIS 
  • Act as point person for employee HR questions 
  • Process onboardings and offboardings, including new hire paperwork and I-9 verifications 
  • Provide support for company DEI initiatives and implement best practices into daily work 
  • Assist with key elements of benefits administration, including Open Enrollment 
  • Assist with development and implementation of workplace policies, procedures, and trainings 
  • Review payroll for accuracy and assist in payroll processing 
  • Stay up to date on and ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations 
  • Salary: $85-110k annually, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 3-7 years’ Human Resources experience 
  • SHRM or PHR certification, preferred 
  • Deep working knowledge of local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations 
  • Tech savvy and experienced in HRIS systems such as BambooHR 
  • Dedicated to details, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
