Our client is a global creative studio and artist community network that provides professional rehearsal equipment and studio space to creatives around the world. They are seeking an experienced Head of Project Management to lead and manage construction, development, and refurbishment of studios across the North American region. The position is remote, and requires travel, including to worksites and visiting the local office once per month. They offer excellent benefits, including a flexible work schedule and generous PTO.

Job Details

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all stages of project are effectively managed according to agreed timelines
  • Lead, manage, and mentor regional Project Managers and other team members
  • Develop feasibility budgets and advise on buildability challenges
  • Ensure effective development of project documentation
  • Provide support to acquisition team during lease negotiations
  • Assist in the development of bid process and documents
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external teams and consultants throughout the construction lifecycle within agreed cost, quality, and time parameters
  • Perform completion inspections and handovers
  • Coordinate punch list and ensure all defects are closed out within the agreed time frame
  • Provide necessary documentation and training to Facilities and Operations teams
  • Ensure all tracking and scheduling documents are up-to-date and accurate
  • Travel required up to 60%, including to worksites, and to the local office once per month
  • Salary: $100-140k, depending on experience

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in project and people management
  • Preferred background in construction, real estate development, retail, or relevant consulting firm
  • Experience managing budgets and giving status reports to senior management
  • Proven ability to deliver on multiple concurrent projects
  • Unflappable organizational and communication skills
  • Computer savvy and able to learn new software
  • Confident in making independent decisions, while also knowing when to escalate issues
  • Must be precise in meeting construction targets and timelines
