Our client is one of the largest publicly traded real estate development companies in the United States. Based in Midtown, Manhattan, they are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to the CEO. They offer excellent benefits, including generous PTO, continuing education scholarships, and investment opportunities. This position is on-site, with the option to work remotely when the CEO is traveling.

Job Details

  • Continuously monitor CEO’s calendar and keep them informed of upcoming commitments
  • Arrange and manage travel and other logistics
  • Research and create effective PowerPoint presentations for Board meetings, conferences, and other engagements
  • Research, write drafts, format, and edit correspondence and other communications
  • Prepare expense reports and other documents as needed
  • Assist CEO in preparing for conferences, meetings, and speaking engagements
  • Coordinate with Finance and Accounting to create quarterly Board reports
  • Answer, manage, and route business-related calls with utmost professionalism
  • Attend relevant business meetings, including investor meetings, and assess impact to future presentations, reports, etc.
  • Take a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and managing conflicting priorities
  • Salary: $120-125k per year, bonus eligible

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8-10 years’ experience supporting C-level executives or managing partners
  • Preferred background in marketing, communications, real estate, or private equity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly polished and professional demeanor, with knowledge of business vocabulary to communicate effectively with executives and other stakeholders
  • Highly responsible, with proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
