New York City’s largest food rescue organization is seeking full-time Distribution Center Associates to join its warehouse.

This position is onsite with shifts in the morning to afternoon hours.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks as directed
• Receive, move, store and load merchandise with use of a hi/lo or other material lift machinery as directed
• Ship and receive orders efficiently and accurately
• Inspect goods for damages, report and document findings
• Manage inventory based on guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance of facilities and equipment as directed
• Additional duties as directed

Requirements

• Good verbal, math, and writing skills
• Physical labor and the ability to work in a refrigerator and/or freezer for extended periods of time
• Ability to load trucks using written sales order forms
• Track record of punctuality
• Adaptable in an environment of high accountability
• Ability to work overtime as needed

$36,000-37,000 per year
