Description

Our client, an international law firm headquartered in NYC, is seeking a Corporate Events Assistant under a long-term temporary contract. There is room for growth at this company with the possibility of this position going permanent. The position is hybrid, and based part of the week at their beautiful office in Midtown.

Job Details

  • Assist Events Director with planning, coordinating, and executing corporate meetings
  • Maintain schedules and calendars for appointments, meetings, and conference rooms
  • Answer, screen, and route calls on a multi-line phone system in a professional and courteous manner
  • Coordinate with vendors and other third parties such as catering and A/V
  • Process contracts and other documentation
  • Create meeting and conference materials, such as name tags
  • Manage registration processes and staff event tables as needed
  • Pay rate: $28-30 per hour, based on experience
  • Time Commitment: M-F, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM with occasional overtime

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-4 years experience in corporate events or similar
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Highly professional presentation and demeanor
  • Customer service oriented, approachable, and level-headed
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
