The Controller MUST have experience in a sales/commission-based environment.

After temporary employees are paid, controller is responsible for accurate electronic billing of all clients for the hours that the temporary employees worked, ensuring that proper markups and bill rates are utilized.

Reporting of all activity to the President for all activity above is performed on a regular basis with the help of the ATS software and Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities:

·     Calculate and pay commissions to sales and operations staff

·     Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are handled in a timely manner through Quickbooks

·     Manage onboarding of new clients and work closely with them to ensure their needs are met

·     Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed

·     Maintain list of accounts

·     Directly communicate with clients and their teams

·     Coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings

·     Analyze accrual and cash basis financial statements

·     Prepare Borrowing Base worksheet documenting outstanding receivables

·     Recommend benchmarks against which to measure company performance

·     Interact with bank to renew line of credit

·     Regularly interact with company President regarding all financial issues

·     Oversee the creation of budgets, forecasts, cash flows, consolidations & other reporting decks

Qualifications

·     Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

·     5+ years financial experience in a sales/commission-based environment

·     Experience with Quickbooks

·     Experience with ATS (Application Tracking System) preferred

Salary will be in the 80-100K range.
