They are experiencing major growth in their Media + Analytics department and looking for a Communication Strategy Supervisor to join their team. This role is responsible for ownership of strategic planning across all media channels. Candidate must have solid foundation of knowledge and experience across all media channels, with an emphasis on digital media. Candidate must exhibit a proven ability to plan, execute and analyze digital campaigns across social, display and video. A firm understanding of both ROI driving tactics and branding principles will be critical for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing media strategy, planning, campaign management, data, insights and analytics
  • Oversees/​manages planner/assistant planner and day-to-day operation of all media activity
  • Demonstrates initiative by researching and identifying valuable information/​insights to improve media product
  • Determines and supervises the best possible implementation of all approved communication plans and projects
  • Aid in the development of campaign set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, campaign construction best-practice, performance forecasting, and optimization recommendations, ensuring maximum impact and efficiency of each campaign.
  • Learns and understands all phases of the clients’ marketing objectives and provides media recommendations to deliver against these objectives
  • Understands all proprietary research tools/​processes and applies learning during communication planning
  • Seek out creative and innovative first to market solutions to meet client objectives
  • Prepares and presents communication plans, as needed, including objectives, strategy, rationale, post-campaign analysis, and all backup materials
  • Establish strong working relationship with partner agencies (where/​when applicable), delivering a seamless communications process
  • Demonstrates agility via multi-tasking – multiple brands, strategic development and plan stewardship, management of Planner
  • Develops collaborative working relationship with all internal and external teams, ensuring they fully understand brand’s communication objectives/​strategies

Skills & Experience

  • 4 yrs minimum experience of 360-degree media strategy and activation experience across both Digital and Traditional Channels.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize projects for self and direct reports
  • Excellent understanding of all media types, strategy, and plan architecture fundamentals
  • Proven ability in training and leadership capability
  • Experience with media research tools (MRI, Kantar, etc.)
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills required
  • Must have strong knowledge of Campaign Manager (trafficking and reporting) and Google Analytics
  • Must have hands on platform experience planning and activating paid social campaigns across Facebook/Instagram and Twitter
  • Must have analytical ability and strategic curiosity
