Our client is a luxury real estate investment firm seeking a Collections Manager - Property Assistant. This position is based out of their beautiful office in Manhattan. They are a tight-knit team, and offer excellent benefits, including 401k with matching. 

Job Details

  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Property Manager
  • Collect payments and respond to billing inquiries
  • Communicate with owners/renters regarding unpaid debt and set up repayment plans
  • Liaise with legal department regarding delinquent accounts
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Account file maintenance and reconciliation
  • Notary for office and residents
  • Verify rental histories and provide landlord letters of reference
  • Respond to PILOT questions and send PILOT letters
  • Manage room rental calendar and field inquiries
  • Collect payments and fees for room reservations
  • Salary: $65-75k per year
  • Excellent benefits include medical, vision, dental, and 401k matching.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in billing, collections, or property management admin
  • Real estate experience is highly preferred
  • Strong computer skills with mastery of Excel
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Proactive, persistent, and professional communication style
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
