Description
Our client, a global Real Estate asset manager with over $600 billion in assets under management, and a 120-year history, is seeking a Catering Assistant. The position is based on site at their office in downtown Manhattan. Job Details
- Take executives’ and guests’ food and beverage orders and serve them in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that all pantries and beverage stations remain properly set up and stocked before and during service periods to meet high volume requirements
- Set up and clear conference rooms
- Coordinate catering for all internal meetings and staff lunches
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitary kitchen (prep, storage, dishwash)
- Place orders, receive product (food & supplies), and verify invoices for pricing, quantities received, and freshness
- Salary: $50-60k annually, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Must be punctual and polished
- Professional and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Must have a flexible attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
