They are looking for a Business Operations Manager to join their team. As the Business Operations Manager, you will be a key member within the Advanced Media group. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial support to both clients and account teams across the business. You will specifically assist with day-to-day client financial management, commercial agreements, and reporting deliverables. While proactively working across accounts with varying stakeholders, you will drive the direction, implementation, and completion of financial deliverables; you will ensure that all internal and external financial reports are completed in an effective, timely manner and subsequently communicated as such. In everything you do, you will be hyper-focused and extremely organized while also offering constructive feedback and identifying areas of improvement across financial processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assume the role of agency finance manager on assigned client accounts providing financial
    support to both clients and account teams.
  • Assist in generating financial deliverables including general reporting, staffing plans,
    reconciliations, and SOWs.
  • Collaborate with account leads to ensure that all financial elements of the client relationship are communicated, tracked, monitored, and managed effectively.
  • Forecast projected revenue on a monthly/quarterly basis and work directly with client account leads to monitor monthly revenue pipeline.
  • Build out and maintain monthly revenue recognition models.
  • Analyze and review compensation models.
  • Ensure that fees are billed and sent in a timely manner by the AP team.
  • Generate and analyze monthly financial reports, including burn reports and P&L reports.
  • Assist in reviewing client contracts for production schedules; subsequently ensure that production jobs are billed to meet payment terms.
  • Provide critical support to the Controller and CFO in managing the company’s resources; this includes utilization reports, hiring needs/trends analysis, and various ad hoc requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with agency personnel related to financial processes and
    deliverables

EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of experience in either a client finance or FP&A role; 2+ years within a media agency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills.
  • The ability to confidently present and explain fees to marketing and/or procurement clients.
  • Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • A proven track record of turning business problems into business solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  •  The ability to excel in high-pressure situations.
  •  The ability to effectively work with financial and non-financial colleagues.
  • The capacity to proactively approach problems in a perceptive and analytical manner.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • A strong, motivated work ethic.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field).
