This company is looking for a Business Intelligence Devloper that will:
Required Skills:
- Excellent SQL development skills with strong expertise in optimization, storage, and security in MS SQL Server
- Experience in building enterprise-scale data solutions using Agile methodology with strong expertise in data/system architecture and data analysis
- Experience in developing business intelligence platforms from enterprise data – both on-premises and in cloud environments
- Experience with data visualization using Power BI or Tableau
- Appreciation for and experience with documentation of systems flows, architecture and design
- Experience in developing scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and accounting platforms
- Excellent Project Management skills and preferably certification as Project Management Professional
- Experience is developing project plans with critical success factors, KPIs, work-break-down structures, delivery, and resource schedules
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience is developing project proposals, business requirement documents and technical/functional specification documents
- Extensive experience in working with large datasets and time series data
- Experience in working on large scale systems and enterprise scale products
- Strong knowledge of best practices for software design, development, and testing
- Results oriented, high-energy, self-motivated, and proven experience supporting high-pressure environment, preferably in Investment/Trading
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy and support Data Warehouse components and Business Intelligence objects
- Using Iterative, Agile and Lean methodologies rapidly develop data centric solutions for solving business challenges
- Communicate and coordinate with business users in gathering requirements and testing/supporting applications
- Employ quality coding practices in developing interactive data dashboards and reports to help business glean insights from enterprise data
- Follow industry accepted SDLC best practices using version control and internal ticketing system
- Develop project plans/timelines and work-break-down structures and communicate with the business in managing their needs/expectations
- Develop technical specification and design/functional specification documents for business requirements
- Help address audit requests from firm’s internal and external auditors
- Make recommendations for improving existing processes and suggest better tools where appropriate
- Be client driven and stay up-to-date on technological developments in the industry
The salary for this position is up to $125k, based on experience.
