Description
Our client, a financial services firm, is looking for a Bookkeeper specializing in small and midsize businesses. This position is fully on site and located in the Metro Detroit.
Job Details
- Month-end closing, financial reporting
- Reconciling bank and general ledgers and processing live or after the fact payroll
- Payroll duties, including filing the quarterly reports with all government agencies
- Preparation of tax returns if needed
- Tracking fixed assets and maintaining current depreciation schedule for clients
- Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight
- Salary: $60-70k annually, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting, Finance, Business or similar major preferred
- 3-5 years' Bookkeeping experience
- Must have experience with QuickBooks
- Excellent numerical skills and proficient in Excel
