Our client is a leading law firm with offices around the world. They are seeking a Benefits Analyst to join their team in NYC or Chicago. The job is currently fully remote, and they anticipate a return-to-office in January, 2022. They offer excellent benefits, including generous PTO and 401k.

Due to the nature of the position, only candidates with 8+ years’ experience in Benefits Administration will be considered.

Job Details

  • Analyze the effectiveness of current benefits plans and make strategic renewal recommendations
  • Audit current benefits enrollment processes and recommend improvements
  • Prepare gap analyses and benefit data census reports
  • Plan and execute annual open enrollment project
  • Assist with departmental budget audits and planning
  • Generate reports in Benefitsfocus and analyze/summarize findings
  • Collaborate with legal team in reviewing benefits documents, terms, and conditions
  • Ensure total compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and statutes
  • Develop internal communications for staff education regarding benefits programs
  • Assist with filing SARs, 5500s, and ACA reporting
  • Salary: $120k per year

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ Benefits Administration experience
  • Law firm experience, a plus!
  • Expert-level Excel and data analytics skills
  • HRIS experience, preferably in Benefitfocus
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, pensions and/or 401k plans
  • Dedicated to details, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Highest standard of confidentiality and discretion
