Description

Our client is a New York-based subsidiary of a popular toy brand specializing in bringing anime to the global market.  The client works in focused collaboration with a broad network of partners while maintaining a popular content business that moves audiences worldwide. They are seeking a Full-Time Associate Sales and Licensing Manager to work alongside the Director of Sales and Licensing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage merchandise licensees and digital partners in key territories.
  • Research and prepare sales decks
  • Forecast financial milestones
  • Track sales cycle
  • Negotiate licensing agreements
  • Travel to industry trade shows to promote the product
  • Negotiate licensing agreements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of licensing experience.
  • Proven negotiation skills, knowledge of licensing contracts, and leadership skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a hands-on approach to the management of product and business
  • Knowledge of print, video, new media, and digital technology.
  • Up to 15%~20% domestic and international business travel is required.
  • Japanese language skills and/or experience in dealing with Japanese culture are preferable, but not required.

Salary- 65k-85k
