Gainor Staffing is growing and currently seeking an Associate Recruiter to join our team in Midtown Manhattan! In this role, you will cultivate the relationship between candidates and clients to match top talent with available opportunities. 

Who you are: 

  • A natural networker and relationship builder with 2-6 years in HR or Staffing/Recruiting 
  • Adept at utilizing social media to find top talent 
  • Goal-driven and persistent team player with a positive attitude 
  • Energetic self-starter with a track record of producing results in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with ATS/CRM/HRIS systems 

What you’ll do: 

  • Source candidates through various recruiting and social media platforms and build pipelines of qualified candidates 
  • Review resumes, perform phone screens, and conduct preliminary interviews to match qualified professionals with client positions 
  • Act as primary contact and liaison between candidates and account managers 
  • Stay connected with candidates and update them at every step of the hiring process 
  • Enter and update candidate information in ATS 
  • Negotiate compensation and benefits packages on behalf of your candidates 
  • Perform reference checks
