Our client, a global alternative asset manager with over $600 billion in assets under management, and a 120-year history, is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The position is based out of their office in downtown Manhattan. Job Details

  • Heavy calendar management in Outlook and complex meeting coordination
  • Create and edit PowerPoints, incorporating graphs, images, and charts
  • Proofread documents and review formatting
  • Maintain detailed Excel reports and Word documents
  • Promptly respond to inquiries and fulfill requests with accuracy and professionalism
  • Manage complex travel itineraries and maintain travel documents
  • Provide backfill to other admin positions as needed
  • Manage filing, prepare documents, and take minutes for meetings
  • General administrative tasks such as mailing, copying, and processing invoices
  • Ensure timely completion of essential projects while balancing conflicting priorities
  • Salary: $70-80k per year, depending on experience
  • Excellent benefits package includes health insurance and 401k

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-3 years’ admin experience, with preferred background in finance or other professional services
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook calendar management
  • Experience with expense management software, such as Concur
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great eye for detail and sharp proofreader
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and utilize sound judgement
