SUMMARY 

The HRIS Manager will be responsible for maintaining the firm’s HRIS system (UltiPro), ensuring data integrity and producing all needed reporting.  The Analyst will develop solutions for HRIS projects, including analyzing requirements, drafting specifications, configuring the system, testing and training.  This individual will also create HRIS reports and analyses to communicate the meaning behind our people data.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Responsible for creation of all new codes within the system as well as assigning and creating security roles as necessary. 
  • Receive inbound transactions from a number of sources and key the corresponding data into UltiPro.  Work with other members of the HR and Benefits teams to periodically audit HRIS data to help identify data entry errors and exceptions. 
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries and provide reporting and analytical data to individuals within the firm as requested.  These include adhoc reports, scheduled reports and analyses, survey responses and any other data-driven requests.  
  • Transform data and analysis into insights and recommendations to inform the strategic direction of the firm’s People strategy. 
  • Coordinate and maintain various ongoing reporting efforts including EEO-1 tracking and reporting, monthly headcount reports and all diversity related reporting. 
  • Work with members of the HR and Benefits teams to identify areas of process improvement to streamline HR and firm processes.  Document any system-specific procedures. 
  • Act as the primary liaison between the HR and IT departments to coordinate development projects and proper technical maintenance of the system. 
  • Work with HR/Benefits team members, vendors and UKG support to design, build and implement  inbound or outbound data feeds as needed. 
  • Work closely with members of the HR, Benefits and Payroll teams to coordinate semi-monthly data transfer to payroll, troubleshoot and resolve any related issues as well as manage any special reporting requests. 
  • First level of contact for functional user issues.  Analyze and resolve issues and escalate if needed. 
  • Coordinate and perform system training to end users for new hire onboarding and as new functionality becomes available. 
  • Manage the build, population and performance of all evaluation processes within the viGlobal system, including system access.  Provide reporting within viGlobal as requested by process owners. 
  • With designated contacts in IT, manage the relationship with vendors of HR systems used by the Firm. 

 SKILLS

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required. 
  • Advanced level knowledge of UltiPro or other enterprise HRIS application (Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors) required. 
  • Proficiency in viGlobal system highly preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of and comfort level in regularly utilizing reporting tools (such as Power BI, Cognos, Crystal Reports).  Knowledge of SQL a plus. 
  • Previous legal industry or professional services experience highly preferred. 
  • Experience synthesizing complex information to communicate trends and other conclusions from the data, including the ability to design the presentation of the information using MS Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
