Description

Our client, a Financial Services startup specializing in Real Estate, is seeking an Acquisitions Specialist. The position is hybrid, and based part of the week out of their beautiful office in Midtown, Manhattan. They offer excellent benefits, including generous PTO and stock in the company.

Job Details

  • Utilize CRM and Yardi to track and log progress of real estate acquisitions
  • Create, edit, and format documents in Microsoft Word
  • Liaise with internal and external contacts and companies
  • Manage the moving parts of each acquisition in a proactive manner to ensure closings occur on time
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of contracts and other documents
  • Prepare and file documentation for all parts of the acquisition process, including EMDs, purchase records, titles, et al.
  • Salary: $75-85k plus bonus, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred (major in finance, a plus!)
  • 2+ years’ experience with mortgage processing and closings
  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi
  • Excellent time management skills -- you have a proven ability to get complicated projects done on time
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Personable, with top-notch verbal and written communication skills
  • Dedicated to details -- you catch mistakes others miss!
