Our client is a nonprofit organization with a focus on social issues. They are seeking a temporary Recruiter to support the Human Resources team for a 3 to 6 month assignment. The position is 100% remote, however candidates must reside within the Tri-State / New York Metropolitan area as occasional site visits in NYC may be required. 

Job Details 

• Liaise with teams and hiring managers to identify their talent needs 
• Source potential candidates through various recruiting platforms and job boards 
• Review resumes and perform initial phone screens 
• Manage offer stage, including performing background checks 
• Act as primary contact and liaison between candidates and hiring managers 
• Provide seamless and positive hiring experience for all candidates 
• Pay rate: $40-43 per hour, based on experience  
• Time Commitment: 3 to 6 months, full time 

Skills and Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree required 
• 2-5 years’ experience in recruiting; non-profit experience a plus! 
• Must have experience with job boards, including Indeed and Monster 
• Deep working knowledge of EEO regulations and labor laws regarding employment 
• Tech savvy, dedicated to detail, and highly organized 
• Confident working with all levels of employees and leadership 
• Customer service oriented, with excellent sense of follow-through
