Our client, a leading law firm based in NYC, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their People Team. The position is located on site at their Midtown, Manhattan office. There is room for growth at this firm, and they offer excellent benefits!

Job Details

  • Provide administrative support for the People Team (HR, Benefits, and Recruiting)
  • Monitor email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Schedule meetings and training sessions
  • Assist HR team with HRIS and general data entry
  • Coordinate new hire onboardings and perform employment verifications
  • Assist Recruiting team with posting job ads, coordinating interviews, monitoring candidate status, and running background checks
  • Perform expense reconciliations and process invoices/reimbursements
  • Assist with special projects such as event planning
  • Salary: $55-65k, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-2 years’ Administrative Assistant experience, preferably in an HR-related role
  • Legal industry background preferred
  • Experience with HRIS, a plus!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
  • Personable and able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees
  • Dedicated to detail, with excellent organizational skills
  • Highly responsible, with proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
