Our client, a corporate law firm, is looking for a Senior Manager of Employee Relations to report to their New York City based US Human Resources Director. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be comfortable advising other team members on projects. They must be an experienced, polished individual who is an employee relations expert.

Senior Manager of Employee Relations Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance for employee relations issues and manage grievance process
  • Maintain positive business relationships with employees and stakeholders
  • Respond to internal complaints by investigating and taking all remediation necessary
  • Function as primary liaison for all inside and outside counsel on employee relation concerns
  • Guarantee all processes follow strict compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements
  • Prepare human resources policies, procedures and guidelines and recommend updates
  • Supervise the implementation of local, state, and federal compliance requirements

Senior Manager of Employee Relations Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Human Resources or relevant field
  • 6-8 years of employee relations experience
  • Extensive experience with conducting workplace investigations
  • Proven knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Experience working in large organizations with multiple offices
  • Law firm background preferred

Salary: $175-190k + bonus
