Description
Our client, an NYC-based commercial real estate company, is seeking a Property Manager. This position is temporary and requires a time commitment of 6 months. This position is fully on site and based out of their beautiful office in the Flatiron district of Manhattan.
Job Details
- Perform regular building walkthroughs
- Manage vendor and contractor relations
- Prepare budgets, financial reports, and occupancy analyses
- Liaise with engineering, security, and maintenance teams
- Ensure timely completion of interior and exterior building maintenance
- Oversee and manage staff, including administrative personnel and assistant property managers
- Maintain records of leases, certificates of insurance, and other documentation
- Investigate and resolve complaints and violations
- Handle confidential information with utmost discretion
- Pay Rate: $35-40 per hour, based on experience
- Time Commitment: Full time, 5-6 months
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry
- At least 2 years’ experience in property management, including on-site at NYC properties
- Well versed in Microsoft Suite and real estate software such as IBS, Building Link, etc.
- Basic accounting knowledge and budget experience
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills, including experience resolving grievances and complaints
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
