Gainor Staffing is representing a professional services firm who is looking for a Payroll Analyst in their Manhattan office. The Payroll Analyst will play a crucial role in the company’s team and must be extremely detail-oriented to succeed in this position.

Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll for 500 employees
  • Maintain all payroll records in ADP Workforce
  • Oversee completion of new hire paperwork
  • Run payroll related reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain personnel and benefits records
  • Handle invoices
  • Provide general benefit administration
  • Assist with all audits
  • Handle quarterly tax reconciliations

Payroll Analyst Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience processing multi-state payrolls for 300+ employees
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Business
  • ADP experience required
  • Knowledge of Federal, State & Local tax laws is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including VLOOKUP, data and variance analysis, filters and conditional formatting, and Pivot Tables
  • Extremely detail orientated and exercises extreme discretion
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Experience with Benefits and Workday is a plus
