Our client is a high end finance firm that is searching for a Junior Executive Assistant to support a team on the trading floor of their New York City Office. This position will be responsible for managing schedules, heavy phone operation, and assisting in the production of reports and presentations for the Trading Desk team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and is a highly motivated team player.

Junior Executive Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Calendar management and coordinating travel
  • Creating itineraries
  • Telephone coverage and mail handling
  • Maintaining files and coordinating events
  • Managing schedules utilizing MS Outlook
  • Organizing and prioritizing information requests and calls
  • Researching and resolving complex issues individually and as a part of a team
  • Aiding in the production of reports, presentations and documents
  • Filing of notes from company meetings/conference calls

Junior Executive Assistant Qualifications:

  • 2 – 3 years administrative support experience
  • Team player, work in a collegial environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Self-starter with can-do attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with heavy phone operation (admin and reception)

Salary: $60-75k

Hours: 8am-5:30pm
