Our client is an industry-leading financial services firm based in NYC. They are seeking an Events Coordinator to assist with high-profile meetings and client events on a Temp-to-Perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door at a fantastic company that truly takes care of their people! The position is on-site at their headquarters in Midtown, Manhattan.

 

Job Details

  • Greet clients and direct them to meeting spaces
  • Provide top-notch customer service to all clients, guests, and visitors
  • Answer phones, screen and transfer calls, and monitor email inbox
  • Schedule conference rooms and events spaces
  • Assist Senior Events Managers with event coordination and logistics
  • Collaborate with catering, facilities, and audio-visual teams
  • Pay rate: $28-30 per hour, based on experience

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in corporate reception, event coordination, or in luxury hospitality
  • Personable and customer service oriented
  • Tech savvy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • EMS booking system knowledge, a plus!
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
