Gainor Staffing is representing a nonprofit organization in New York City who is looking for a Benefits Manager on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate is someone who has a significant amount of experience, and is eager to jump in and work with their large, diverse teams of employees. This position requires someone with the proven ability to work independently and under little supervision.

Benefits Manager Responsibilities:

  • Advise employees on benefits options, including retirement, group insurance, and leaves of absence
  • Educate and answer all employee questions regarding benefits, training documents, and template responses
  • Manage new employee benefits orientation
  • Maintain leave of absences and disability applications
  • Collaborate with manager to analyze plan renewals, process review, billing administration and database audits
  • Review and audit past leaves

Benefits Manager Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of benefits administration experience required
  • Proven ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Detail-attentive with strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills

Salary: $30-40/hr
